Empowering and Employing Emiratis in AI Through Remote Work

QudraTech is a program launched in May 2024 which aims to train, educate and empower Emiratis across the UAE on AI data annotation. This output of this program directly influences and improves existing AI models being deployed domestically and internationally, starting with JAIS. The program continuously upskills Emiratis to work on more complex tasks and provide them an outlet for more advanced work within the AI and machine learning realm while also providing a foundational knowledge on how data annotation plays a critical role in technological development and evolution. This tutorial provides an overview of the program, the outcomes it has produced thus far and future plans.
How are Genomics Language Models revolutionizing precision medicine and drug discovery?

Omics Language Models are conceptually similar to GPT models, but they are tailored for biological data (genomics, proteomics, …) rather than human languages. Both models utilize deep learning architectures, often based on transformers, to learn patterns and relationships in sequential data.
